Navigating Username and Password Issues with your CBIC Account

I forgot my CBIC username or password, how do I login?

If you are experiencing difficulties logging into your CBIC account or forgot your password: HALT!

Please do not create a new account. By creating a new account, you are making a duplicate profile that will not show your original certification and you will not be able to see your application history.

Instead, please email CBIC (info@cbic.org) and request a password reset. We will provide you with a new password along with your username to login to your CBIC account.

Once CBIC has emailed your new password, you can login to your CBIC account, and change your password to your preferred password of choice.

This avoids any duplicate profiles and confusion.

I am trying to enter my infection prevention units on my CBIC account and do not see the “My IPUs” tab. What can I do?

This means that you have logged into a duplicate account that was created. Your duplicate account is going to show you as “Prospect” and not certified. Since your duplicate account is showing you as a “Prospect”, the “My IPUs” tab will not show.

Email CBIC (info@cbic.org) and let us know that you have a duplicate account, and you are also needing a password reset to your original account. CBIC will mark the duplicate account for deletion and provide you with the new password along with your username to login to your original CBIC account. Once you login to your original account, you will then be able to see “My IPUs” Tab.

You can then begin to add your IPUs into your portfolio.
